About the position
In this role, you are responsible for planning, organizing and executing daily operations. You inspire your team and work together on sustainable solutions. Your tasks include:

  • Optimization of operations: You develop and implement plans to ensure productivity, quality, safety and on-time delivery. Here, you set concrete goals and monitor the progress of operational performance. Your focus is on exceeding customer expectations while keeping a close eye on cost competition.
  • Leadership and Team Development: You coach, motivate and manage a team of 180 employees, divided between Production, Engineering, Technical Service and WCO. With your visibility and enthusiasm, you ensure engagement and performance at a high level. In addition, you help employees grow in their roles and contribute to common goals.
  • Structure and processes: You analyse complex challenges and implement efficient processes that improve the performance of people, machines and working methods. By standardizing working methods, you guarantee consistency and predictability. This enables the team to work independently and effectively within a well-organized framework.
  • Continuous improvement: By using methodologies such as lean manufacturing, you stimulate a culture where processes are continuously optimized. You actively involve employees in improvement processes and ensure these improvements sustainably. This increases efficiency and creates a work culture that focuses on progress.
  • Cooperation within the MT: You work closely with Freddy Terpstra (Site Manager) and Richard Lont (Supply Chain Manager) to achieve strategic goals. Through your analytical view and fresh ideas, you contribute to decision-making and optimization of business processes. Together with other MT members, you help the organization reach a new standard.
  • Safety and social responsibility: You are committed to a safe work environment and actively contribute to promoting sustainability and social responsibility. You ensure that safety standards are strictly complied with and that sustainability is at the heart of operations.
  • Cultural change: You play a key role in improving attitude, behavior and cooperation within the team. By stimulating trust and responsibility, you create a working climate where employees feel heard and contribute to organizational goals.

What do we ask of you?

  • Your salary — based on the weight of the job and your experience — is a maximum of €113,000 per year based on 40 hours per week, including 8% vacation allowance and a 13th month;
