To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. From the request to the implementation of adjustments, you are closely involved in the process. You focus on optimizations and making improvements to existing machines and systems. You are technically responsible for increasing the production capacity of our customers by rolling out complete machine lines. Thanks to your work, machines run safer, more efficiently, meet the latest requirements and keep customers happy.
About the position
You ensure that our machine lines optimally meet the specific requirements and wishes of our customers. You are working on technical adjustments and improvements, such as making a line suitable for a new product.
You technically supervise projects from request to installation and are responsible for:
• Providing technical customization and adjusting configurations.
• Ensuring quality in drawing packages and standards.
• Solving technical issues during all project phases.
• Sparring with colleagues from (after) sales, project management and service.
You have intensive contact with your colleagues in the project department and coordinate matters during the weekly meeting. As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for making and monitoring the schedule so that execution and timelines are in line. You ensure that projects run smoothly and switch with colleagues when adjustments are needed. You'll have plenty of room to realize your ideas, grow in your field and tackle technical challenges together with a team of experts.
Where will you work?
We are Huhtamaki Fiber Technology, the international R&D center and machine line developer of the major packaging company Huhtamaki. We passionately develop machine lines that make it possible to produce sustainable packaging for, among others, the food industry. We have located a modern test center, a pilot plant and various other departments under one roof. For us, it's all about innovation, sustainable innovation! What do we ask of you?
• Have you completed a course in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering?

• Your salary - based on the weight of the job and your experience - is between €48,750 and €65,000 per year based on 40 hours per week, including a vacation allowance of 8% and a 13th month.
